We have a simple price structure, which is 100% transparent. There are no hidden extras or nasty surprises. Our labour is charged hourly with a minimum charge of 1 hour.

With most jobs we will first arrange a visit to provide a free quote for the work. This won’t cost you a penny and will enable us to estimate how long the work will take and give you an accurate price up front.

Labour is charged at the following rates:

  • 1st hour = £65
  • Each hour after that = £35 per hour (charged in ½ hour increments)
  • Half day rate (4 hours) = £140
  • Full day rate (8 hours) = £280

All parts and materials supplied by us will be charged at cost plus 15%.

Please note that all prices are also subject to VAT at 17.5%.

  • New Fuseboard - £320 + VAT


Testing Rates

  • House/Flat (1-2 bedrooms) - £130 + VAT*

  • House/Flat (3-4 bedrooms) - £155 + VAT*

*Testing prices are based on properties having non-electric heating systems and no more than 8 circuits in total. For properties with electric heating, add approx. £80. For properties with more than 8 circuits, add £15 per circuit.


 

 

For smaller jobs such as putting up a light fitting or changing lamps, a quote is not normally necessary. These jobs typically don’t take much time and labour costs are charged as above.

For example, if we came out to install a light fitting and change a few socket fronts/switches or similar and it took our engineer an hour and a half, you would pay:

£65 + £17.50 = £82.50 + VAT @ 17.5%

Total cost = £96.94
